MOTO G6 PLAY DESIGN-
For the first time, moto has used gorilla glass in the rear panel. It has 18:9 style frames with curve finish. The fingerprint scanner of Moto G6 play is on the rear. It has micro-USB port instead of type-c. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top of the phone. Overall in design Moto G6 play is very good.
MOTO G6 PLAY DISPLAY-
Moto has upgraded their display in new Moto G6 play. The display of Moto G6 play looks stunning and evoke a premium feel. The Moto G6 play has 5.7 inch HD LCD panel display with 18:9 ratio. It has a resolution of 720X1440 pixel which is not so high. We are glad to know that Moto G6 play doesn't have a notch which not everyone likes. Overall Moto G6 play display is average.
MOTO G6 PLAY CAMERA-
The Moto G6 play comes with 13MP with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP in the front camera. Both sides of the camera come with single tone LED flash which is a very good option. The Rear camera takes outstanding images in daylight condition. In low light the rear camera performance is average. The front camera also performs very well. In Indoor condition selfies taken looks stunning. The video capturing is limited to 1080p at 30fps and with no electronic image stabilisation(EIS). The overall camera performance of Moto G6 play is not so good or not so bad.
MOTO G6 PLAY ANDROID-
The Moto G6 play runs with Android 8.0 out of the box. It comes with the stock Android interface which is a very good option from Motorola.

MOTO G6 PLAY BATTERY-
The Moto G6 play comes with 4000mAh Li-polymer non-removable battery. The 4000mAh battery will easily last for 1day. Whereas Motorola claims that the battery backup will easily last for 32 hours. The best benefit is that it comes with turbocharging by which you can charge your phone from 0 to 100% in just 55 minutes which is very good. Overall Moto G6 play has a nice battery in this price segment.
MOTO G6 PLAY PERFORMANCE-
The Moto G6 play is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 which is not very good. The lower grade chipset means performance is not good. Multitasking in this smartphone is not good and the camera app lags always. For gamers, I would not recommend buying this smartphone. It is available with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The performance of Moto G6 play is not so impressive.
SHOULD YOU BUY IT-
The Moto G6 play is not a big surprise to me. It has the basic things which are not so impressive. The other two phones G6 and G6 plus are better than Moto G6 play. It will be the best phone for the mid-rangers. The people who look for affordable, reliable phones then Moto G6 play will be a great option for them.
